Ben,
We might have more in common than wordsmithing and love of Patrick White, Faulkner, Beckett et al… Nice photos from Green Man Festival. David Berman is a unique songwriter and I’ve been a SIlver Jews (Joos) fan since Starlite Walker. Pavement is rad! Also, Kieran Hebden was in a favorite band of mine, Fridge. Others to love: Hood, US Maple, Orthrelm, Moose, Tindersticks, Mogwai, Idaho, American Music Club, Magnetic Fields, Cranes, Pelican, Wedding Present. A long list. Evan S. Connell (Diary of a Rapist) is who I was referring to a la Mr. and Mrs. Bridge fame. Older than Cormac and just as elusive. Anyway, I’ll attend your reading tomorrow evening despite hating such events. — Tim
